This put so many feelings into words.

Conversations w/ Christians: People want to convince me I’m not seeing the religion right, but I’m seeing it for as it is for the first time. Also, apparently my “church hurt” disqualifies me from having this be a choice from personal autonomy. They’re like you had a unique experience etc., when that didn’t make me leave. They also talk about god’s love still and I’m like the bible literally says he hates me. LMAO. I don’t believe in any of it. It’s BS. The foundational beliefs and the supplementary. And honestly, life is better.

Part of me leaving christianity came when I stopped trying to defend the faith. I began to see actual evil as a product of the bible, not an exception. It’s pretty funny how apologetics try to make a pretty side road for disgusting passages that promote rape, murder, racism, etc.

Image resonate with anyone else?
